Daisy Cottage est une retraite calme et romantique pour deux, à seulement dix minutes à pied du centre de Rye, East Sussex.
Ancien bâtiment laitier des années 1800, converti en un studio lui donnant une touche contemporaine tout en restant sympathique à son héritage. Daisy Cottage est l'un des deux appartements de vacances, chacun avec une entrée par le couloir, si vous souhaitez réserver les deux, parlez-nous d'une remise de 10%.
L'appartement dispose d'un espace de vie ouvert, lumineux et spacieux sur un seul niveau, avec un haut plafond voûté, des poutres apparentes et un séparateur de stalle des jours de la salle de traite pour séparer la zone de couchage, ce qui rend l'appartement assez unique. L'espace cuisine dispose d'une plaque gaz 4 feux et d'un four électrique, d'un réfrigérateur sous plan avec un petit compartiment congélateur, d'un micro-ondes, d'un grille-pain et d'une bouilloire. Une table à manger donnant sur le jardin de la cour, l'endroit idéal pour votre café du matin ou un repas du soir. Le coin salon dispose d'un canapé confortable, avec des coussins et un plaid douillet, une grande télévision TNT, un lecteur DVD si nécessaire et une sélection de livres à parcourir.
Le coin chambre dispose d'un lit king size, avec du linge de qualité, des plaids et des coussins et une autre télévision, au cas où vous auriez envie d'une matinée paresseuse. Il y a une grande table et une chaise, pouvant servir de bureau si vous devez emporter du travail avec vous et une radio numérique avec capacités Bluetooth, si vous souhaitez écouter votre musique. Deux grandes armoires encastrées pour tous vos vêtements de vacances.
La grande salle de bain attenante dispose d'une baignoire avec pommeau de douche, WC, lavabo, prise rasoir et sèche-serviettes, la suite idéale pour se faire dorloter pendant les vacances.
Il y a un jardin dans la cour en bardeaux de pois, avec une table et des sièges et des arbustes établis, une retraite tranquille après une journée à explorer le pays 1066 et un endroit agréable pour prendre un verre en soirée.
Il y a un parking pour un véhicule sur le côté de la propriété si vous venez en voiture. La gare SNCF est en centre ville et à moins d'1 km de l'appartement.
Daisy bénéficie d'un accès privé sur le sentier 1066 pour les marcheurs et constitue un moyen agréable de se promener dans Rye si le cœur vous en dit. Un panier de bienvenue composé de thé, café, sucre, lait et un grand paquet de chips, attendent votre arrivée. (le contenu peut varier)

Surprisingly large and well appointed studio apartment. Clean. Quiet. Would use again. Easy entrance and parking. Handy for town. Would rate five star with proper shower arrangement. Large bath not easy to climb out of for a senior citizen. **Response: We now have added a shower facility and a hand rail to assist climbing in and out of the bath at Daisy Cottage.**

Lovely cottage just on the outside of the centre of Rye. A great space, plenty of room and very comfy bed! Jaqui was really helpful, communications were quick and clear. Would happily recommend!

A great location. Basically equipped internally, nicely set out - with an extremely comfy bed. All we needed for a well deserved couple of nights away. Rye harbour, Cambersands and Dungerness were great to visit, with Dungerness as a highlight. The town of Rye had lots to see and places to eat and was an excellent base for exploring the area. With some very prestigious gardens within reach. The studio is in easy walking distance from the town, we did via pavement rather than over the fields as seemed so straightforward.

We loved our stay in Daisy Cottage! Check in was easy and Jacqui sent us everything we could need and was really helpful with any questions! The Cottage is much more spacious than we expected with a great shower. There’s an added extra of a DVD player if you’d like to bring some films. The Cottage is about a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Rye, which was delightful! We didn’t have a car and found it easy to walk to Camber Sands and the Rye nature reserve. We booked a week at daisy cottage for our anniversary. Communication was very good prior to our stay, plenty of information that was also included in a folder at the cottage. The cottage is located up a short private drive and is nice and quiet. the interior matched up well to the photographs, it's a good sized space with everything you need for a stay. sadly the bed was so soft we found it impossible to sleep in so maybe avoid if you don't like soft beds, there was also quite a bit of noise from the TV in the adjoining cottage. otherwise the self contained space was welcoming and well appointed.

Myself and my partner stayed over the Easter weekend. We had an early check in and later checkout which was very kind of Jacqui to allow that. We had a slight issue with the keypad code on arrival and called Tony and he answered immediately and sorted the issue straight away. The cottage is stunning, no complaints or issues. Everything was as advertised. We drove into Hastings which took about 30 mins. I would definitely stay again and very highly recommend Daisy Cottage. Thank you Jacqui for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage, I fell in love with it.
