Big Sky est un gîte contemporain pouvant accueillir 6 adultes dans le village de Camber, East Sussex, à seulement 5 km de Rye
Big Sky est un joyau caché chic en bord de mer à seulement 5 minutes à pied de la plage, niché le long d'une piste privée avec une allée fermée et un parking pour 3 voitures.
Fini à un niveau très élevé, avec une touche contemporaine, ce trois chambres, 2 salles de bains, le gîte décloisonné est un secret que nous sommes heureux de partager.
Vous entrez dans la propriété dans un salon, une salle à manger et une cuisine décloisonnés, parfaits pour cuisiner et recevoir pendant les vacances. Des couleurs intérieures audacieuses, des trésors originaux ajoutent du caractère à l'espace et le point central, le poêle à bois, est un accueil supplémentaire pour les fraîches soirées d'automne et les dimanches paresseux après une promenade hivernale vivifiante sur la plage. Cuisine entièrement équipée et buanderie séparée, ce qui rend la restauration de vacances un jeu d'enfant.
Il y a trois chambres, deux lits king size dont une avec salle de douche attenante et une chambre double en face de la salle de bain familiale. Tous finis à un niveau très élevé avec des draps de qualité et des serviettes moelleuses et moelleuses.
Le jardin clos est une belle surprise, aménagé avec des plantations naturelles, des bardeaux et des terrasses et un étang clôturé, une retraite bienvenue après une longue journée à explorer la région de 1066. Il y a deux zones pontées, une pour les repas en plein air et l'autre donnant sur le ruisseau qui passe derrière la propriété. Il y a un foyer sur le jardin de galets pour faire fondre ces guimauves tout en sirotant une boisson fraîche et en regardant les étoiles par une douce soirée.
Big Sky est une maison de vacances qui accepte les chiens et les enfants, mais les clients doivent être conscients de l'étang et du ruisseau derrière, alors ne laissez jamais les enfants sans surveillance dans le jardin.
Si vous recherchez une retraite de vacances reposante sur un seul niveau, un accès facile à la plage et à la jolie ville des marais, ne cherchez pas plus loin que Big Sky, c'est certainement un endroit où nous pensons que vous serez heureux quelle que soit la saison.

Big Sky was lovely, a perfect getaway. It was exactly as described and in a perfect relocation only a few mins walk from the beach. The garden was also very lovely and private. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this place for a great beach get away with the family.

Excellent attention to detail means you arrive well informed about the house and local area and when you open the front door you are greeted by a beautiful, clean home. What a lovely space. Really well decorated and everything just works. IF I had to criticise (and this is hard!)....there was no cooking oil? The bottle of fizz made up for it though! Very comfortable, loved the fire, hot and powerful showers, comfy beds.

Amazing stay at the Big Sky. Exactly what was needed to break the lockdown blues. Great place to relax, the kids absolutely loved the styling of it, and the wood burner was a big hit. Beds were comfy, water was hot, neighbours were quiet...what more do you need 😊

“Big Sky - wow! The photos do not do this place justice. I and my family had a wonderful holiday in this beautifully designed property. Spacious, clean, well laid out with fab eclectic design-led decor and a huge garden. A great location to explore the nature reserve, wonderful beaches, Rye and Dungeness. We had stormy weather unfortunately for half the trip but Big Sky was the perfect place to cosy up with a book and stay dry and when the sun shone, to sit out with a cocktail in a deck chair. Highly recommend!”

We had a lovely stay in Camber. the Apartment is lovely and located close to the beach. Parking was great, just outside the apartment. The rooms are decent sized (we were a group of 4 so it worked well) and the garden is spacious, though you do have to keep an eye out for kids and dogs as it is not fenced and there is a pond. We gave it an overall 4 rating as there were a few quirks (front door lock was tricky; not as clean as we hoped; general amenities such as salt, pepper, oil etc. were not included) but overall we had a really great time.

This was the perfect venue for six of us and two dogs to spend our New Year. It’s a 3-minute walk to the beach, which the dogs loved, with its seemingly endless walks. We ate out twice, at The Owl - a 15-minute walk, great food and great beer - and at The Woolpack Inn, which is a 15-minute drive and also had great food and beer! The house itself is a perfect communal space, packed with books, games and Netflix. It’s well-equipped with everything we needed, including milk and bottle of bubbly. We loved its quirky decor and it’s got a great outside space, too. Having read previous reviews, I was a bit concerned about the pond and stream for our dogs but they don’t like to get wet so it wasn’t an issue for us. Great communication with the host, too, which was appreciated.

Big Sky is a lovely well thought out property, with everything that we needed. There was a varied selection of books which was great particularly for me as I love a good read. The location near the beach meant that we could have many walks on the stunning sandy beach, and in the afternoon we would pop into one of the Owl Pub on the way back for a quick drink in front of the log fire before dinner. We went in February which meant that the beach was deserted which was amazing.

Second time staying at one of Jacqui’s properties and we were not disappointed. Great property less than 5min walk from the beach. Great kitchen/living space with a lovely garden. Wood burner was also a lovely feature. Would definitely stay again!
