4 Landgate Cottage est un gîte pour quatre personnes avec une vue imprenable sur le marais en direction de Rye dans la jolie ville de Winchelsea, East Sussex
Le cottage partage les mêmes vues surélevées que l'une des portes de pierre historiques qui protégeaient autrefois la ville de Winchelsea contre les attaques maritimes.
Vous entrez dans le chalet par l'arrière, dans le couloir, vous y trouverez un rangement pour chaussures et manteaux. A gauche se trouve un vestiaire WC séparé et une salle de bain familiale avec lavabo, baignoire avec douche de tête et douchette séparée, paroi de douche, porte-serviettes, prise rasoir et WC.
Le cottage s'ouvre sur une cuisine et une salle à manger modernes et entièrement équipées, avec tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter lorsque vous êtes indépendant. Le salon est confortable et accueillant et offre une vue magnifique sur le marais vers Rye et au-delà. Un bel espace pour regarder la télévision ou s'asseoir tranquillement avec un livre.
Des escaliers mènent aux deux chambres doubles, qui peuvent être configurées en chambres lits jumeaux si vous préférez. Les deux chambres disposent d'un lavabo et d'une prise pour rasoir, de coiffeuses et d'armoires à tiroirs, une sensation de luxe pour ne pas passer de bonnes nuits de sommeil. La chambre à l'avant offre une vue imprenable et lointaine, par temps clair, vous pouvez apercevoir la mer.
Il y a une petite terrasse pavée devant la porte arrière et un petit jardin principalement en pelouse avec des arbustes matures qui peuvent être appréciés pendant les mois les plus chauds.
Avec plusieurs plages à proximité, de superbes sentiers 1066 à votre porte, un séjour au 4 Landgate Cottage devrait vous laisser rechargé et détendu, que vous souhaitiez explorer tout ce que la région a à offrir ou simplement vous détendre.
Le chalet est situé sur le côté de l'A259, il peut donc y avoir du bruit de la route à certains moments de la journée.
Les lits peuvent être configurés en chambres à deux lits Gîte entièrement équipé Stationnement pour deux voitures Local à vélos 1066 sentiers de campagne à votre porte

This is a lovely cottage. It has everything you could want and has been done to a very high standard. It was extremely clean, warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Landgate Cottages. The cottage was clean, modern and cosy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Jacqui was very welcoming and accommodating, we felt very much at home. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

Landgate Cottage is the perfect location to explore Winchelsea and Rye. It has everything you could possibly think of: a superb well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a pretty little shingle garden and it’s only a few minutes walk to the centre of Winchelsea. A very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a stunning countryside location. We had a lovely time. The cottage was so well equipped. It was a shame not to have a green lawn as in the pictures. Also the main road noise took some getting used to, but a cosy and extremely comfortable stay nonetheless. You really had thought of everything and it was spotlessly clean. **Response** We had only recently had the garden professionally landscaped and wanted a sunny day to show it off with new photos, sorry the lack of lawn disappointed but we are glad you had a lovely stay.

A lovely comfortable cottage, it was so well equipped in the kitchen. It is very close to the main coast road , which is noisy, but the lovely views to the coast made up for the noise.

Great little cottage. Seems newly refurbished. Kitchen was very well stocked with all the essentials and more. Cottage itself was immaculate. Would def return!

We had a lovely stay, was in an amazing location and the property was very well equipped. We however did find a few flaws in the accommodation. • bedding smelt fusty • back bedroom blind could only be closed half way •ants in kitchen • tv remote batteries had run out. We did however like how they had a maintenance book which would help resolve these issues for the next guests. Over all enjoyed our experience and really loved being so close to Rye and camber sands. This is our second time of staying here. Beautiful house in an amazing setting which has been meticulously designed and thought out. More comfortable than our actual home! Highly recommended.

The accommodation has been recently renovated to a very high and tasteful standard. Unusually, the two bedrooms are almost identical which makes the who-has-what-room debate easier than usual. The kitchen is remarkably well equipped, even to the extent of having cake forks, and the bathroom has a powerful shower and electrically operated roof window. We had one minor issue which was sorted straight away by a phone call to the dedicated help number. Would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Firstly, Jacqui is an exceptional host, giving excellent instructions, brilliant communication, very responsive and helpful as regards to check in and out requirements. The cottage is in a beautiful location with lovely panoramic views across Winchelsea and the Marsh. The cottage itself is perfect, very comfortable and had everything that we could hope for our week residency. The owners had thought of everything. I cannot think of a better recommendation other than this would be the first property that we would reserve on our future visits to the area. Toronto Canada
